    2. Halal Advertising Standards

We believe advertising can be both effective and ethical. All campaigns on HalalSpark must reflect Islamic principles and respect family-friendly standards.

    Prohibited Products & Services

    • Alcohol, gambling, adult/sexual content
    • Riba-based financial products or insurance
    • Pork or pork-derived products
    • Misleading, sensationalist, or harmful claims
    • Speculative cryptocurrency, get-rich-quick, or deceptive investment schemes

    Ethical Requirements

    • Claims must be truthful and verifiable
    • Content must be respectful and suitable for Muslim audiences
    • All creatives must follow AAOIFI and Islamic Marketing Ethics guidelines
    • Ads must not promote anything haram or exploit vulnerable audiences

    3. Intellectual Property

    • Advertisers must own or have legal rights to all creative assets (text, images, videos, logos, etc.)
    • No unauthorised use of third-party IP or impersonation of competitors
    • HalalSpark reserves the right to remove infringing content immediately

    4. Campaign Setup & Approval

    • Every campaign is manually reviewed for quality and Islamic compliance
    • Typical approval timeframe: 24–48 hours (business days)
    • Campaign changes require re-approval
    • Minimum top-up: £4 per wallet transaction
    • Ads must comply with all technical and ethical requirements
    • Sufficient wallet balance required to run or resume campaigns

    5. Targeting & Delivery

    • Current ad delivery uses a round-robin system ensuring fair rotation across publisher sites
    • No guarantee of specific impressions, CTR, or delivery rate
    • In future, targeting options (e.g., industry category, geography) will be introduced — these will be optional and clearly explained
    • Ad placement type (banner, sidebar, header, footer, inline) is automatically matched to available space

    6. Payment Terms

    Billing & Charging

    • Campaigns are prepaid using the wallet system
    • Payments are processed via Stripe Connect
    • Charges apply per CPM or CPC (depending on campaign), at the published price for the country of the person who sees the ad, as listed on the pricing page from 21 October 2026
    • Wallet balances update in real time
    • Campaigns pause automatically when balance is exhausted

    Wallet Management

    • Minimum top-up: £4
    • Unused funds remain withdrawable for up to 12 months of inactivity
    • After 12 months of no activity, users can request manual fund recovery via [email protected]

    7. Refund Policy

    • Refunds apply only to unspent wallet balances
    • Refunds processed to the original payment method via Stripe
    • Processing time: 5–10 business days
    • Campaign spend is non-refundable once ads have been served
    • HalalSpark reserves the right to decline refund requests involving suspected abuse

    8. Performance & Analytics

Advertisers have access to transparent, real-time campaign metrics:

    • Impressions, clicks, CTR, spend (by ad, campaign, or account)
    • Reporting is designed for clarity and fairness — performance data is accurate to within reasonable tracking variance
    • Conversion tracking may be introduced later with user consent

    9. Fraud & Invalid Traffic

HalalSpark employs automated fraud detection to protect advertisers.

    Invalid Traffic Includes:

    • Automated/bot traffic
    • Repeated self-clicks
    • Domain mismatches
    • Fake or spoofed impressions

Such traffic does not consume advertiser budgets. Fraudulent activity is logged and monitored before blocking (fail-open model). IPs identified as abusive enter a temporary cooldown (~30 min). Fraud prevention is privacy-safe and does not use personal identifiers.

    10. Content Moderation

    • Ads are reviewed before publishing
    • Rejected ads receive brief feedback
    • Multiple violations may result in account suspension
    • Appeals can be submitted within 14 days to [email protected]

    11. Account Management

    • Advertisers are responsible for account security and keeping details updated
    • HalalSpark monitors usage for compliance and fraud prevention
    • Support available Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm UK time via [email protected]

    12. Limitation of Liability

HalalSpark's liability is capped at the total amount paid by the advertiser. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (e.g., lost profits). The platform and ad delivery are provided "as is" with no performance guarantees.

    13. Termination

    • Accounts may be terminated for repeated violations, fraud, or unlawful activity
    • Unspent wallet balances are refunded (subject to review)
    • Data deleted 60 days after closure
    • Advertisers may close their account anytime by contacting [email protected]

    14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Disputes resolved through negotiation → mediation → courts (England & Wales). All disputes handled with fairness (Adl) and respect.
