    Overview

HalalSpark pays publishers via Stripe, Wise, or a direct bank transfer — for Bangladesh and Senegal. Which route you use is determined by your country, selected the same way for all three. The goal is to make sure every publisher — whether in London, Lagos, Lahore, or Dhaka — receives their earnings reliably, wherever they're based.

All payouts are processed on the 1st of every month. The minimum payout balance is £10. HalalSpark charges no fee on any route — Wise's own transfer fee still applies (see the fees section below).

    Payout provider comparison

Here is how Stripe, Wise, and bank transfer compare across the dimensions that matter to publishers. Which one applies to you is decided by your country.

Stripe — for UK, EU, US and other Western markets

Stripe is HalalSpark's payout method for publishers based in the UK, EU/EEA, US, Canada, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein. It's the most automated of the three — no monthly action from you or from HalalSpark's team is required once it's set up.

    How Stripe payouts work

Stripe payouts are fully automatic. On the 1st of every month, HalalSpark's system checks your available balance. If you have at least £10 available, a transfer is initiated straight to your Stripe-linked bank account. The money typically arrives within 1–3 business days, depending on your bank. HalalSpark charges no fee — you receive your full balance, converted into your local currency where needed. US and Canada publishers also see Stripe's own small cross-border fee (~0.25%), shown in your Payout History — never charged by HalalSpark.

Hands-free after setupYou do not need to request a payout — it happens automatically each month as long as your balance meets the £10 minimum.

    Setting up Stripe

Setup takes around 5 minutes. You will be redirected to Stripe's secure onboarding flow where you provide your bank details and a form of ID. HalalSpark never sees this information — it goes directly to Stripe. Once approved, your account is active and all future payouts happen automatically.

Wise — for Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey and more

Wise is HalalSpark's payout method for publishers based in Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Egypt, Morocco, UAE, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Philippines. HalalSpark's Wise integration sends your payment directly to your bank account through Wise's transfer API — once you're set up, there's nothing else to do.

    How Wise payouts work

Setup is a one-time step, done entirely in your dashboard:

    1. Enter your bank details once
Your dashboard shows a short form built from Wise's own requirements for your country — the fields vary slightly by destination, but it's typically account number/IBAN, sort code or routing details, and your name.
    2. Choose your currency
Defaults to your country's local currency, but if you actually bank in USD, EUR, or GBP, you can select that instead — some publishers hold foreign-currency accounts even while based locally.
    3. Every 1st of the month
HalalSpark sends your payout directly to that account via Wise. No further action needed — the same details are reused every month unless you update them.
One-time setup, not a monthly stepOnce your Wise bank details are on file, you don't need to do anything each month — payments go straight to your account, the same way Stripe payments do.

    A note for Pakistan-based publishers

Wise requires the recipient to be an individual account, not a registered business account, for payouts to Pakistan. If your bank account is registered to a business rather than to you personally, let us know at [email protected] before setting up.

    Setting up Wise payouts

In your publisher dashboard, go to Payout Settings, select your country, and you'll be taken straight into the Wise setup form. It asks only for what Wise's own systems require for your specific country and currency — nothing extra.

    Wise fees

HalalSpark doesn't charge anything on top for Wise payouts — we send Wise the full amount you earned. Wise's own transfer fee comes out of that, and it's usually under £1. Some corridors see more: a Pakistan-based publisher whose bank account is held in USD rather than PKR, for example, needs an extra conversion step that typically costs more. Your dashboard shows the exact breakdown for every payout — amount sent, Wise's fee, amount received, and the exchange rate used.

    Minimum payout and fees

    Minimum payout: £10

Payouts are only triggered when your available publisher balance reaches £10, across every payout route. If your balance is below £10 at the end of the month, it carries over and accumulates until it reaches the minimum. There is no maximum — your full available balance above £10 is paid out each month.

    Provider fees

HalalSpark charges no fee on any route — you always get your full balance. Where a real fee applies, it's outside HalalSpark's control: Stripe is free in almost every market, with US and Canada the only exception (~0.25%, Stripe's own cross-border fee); Wise's is usually under £1 (higher in some corridors — see the note above). Bank transfer has no fee from HalalSpark or Wise-style provider, but it's a real international wire — a bank along the way can still deduct its own intermediary or receiving fee, and we have no visibility into that in advance.

How to set up your payout method

    1. Sign up or log in
Head to halalspark.co.uk and navigate to your Publisher Dashboard.
    2. Click "Payout Settings"
Found in the dashboard header. If you have not set up a method yet, the button will be highlighted.
    3. Select your country
This is the only choice you make — HalalSpark automatically routes you to the correct option (Stripe, Wise, or bank transfer) for that country. There's no separate provider picker.
    4. Complete setup for your provider
      • Stripe: Redirected to Stripe's onboarding — about 5 minutes. Provide your bank account details and ID.
      • Wise: Fill in your bank details and choose your currency, directly in the dashboard.
      • Bank transfer: Fill in your bank account details directly in the dashboard, same as Wise — HalalSpark's team sends the transfer by hand each month.
    5. Done
From the next 1st of the month, payouts will be processed automatically to your provider.

You can update your country at any time from Payout Settings, which re-assigns your provider automatically. Any change takes effect from your next payout cycle.

    Frequently asked questions

    How does HalalSpark pay publishers?

HalalSpark pays publishers monthly via Stripe, Wise, or a direct bank transfer — chosen automatically based on the country you select during payout setup. All three are set up the same way, in your dashboard. All payouts are processed on the 1st of every month for balances of £10 or more.

    Are Bangladesh and Senegal supported?

Yes — both are paid by direct bank transfer, set up the same way as Stripe or Wise in your dashboard. It's the slowest of the three routes, since transfers are sent by hand and often go via SWIFT.

Why can't I just choose which provider I get paid through?

Provider routing is deliberately locked to a verified, individually-checked list of countries — not a free choice. This protects publishers: it means nobody ends up assigned to a provider that doesn't actually work for their country or currency. If your country isn't listed under any of the three yet, it's because it hasn't been verified, not because we've made an arbitrary decision — contact us and we'll let you know the status.

    When do publishers get paid?

Stripe publishers are paid fully automatically — the payout goes out on the 1st, usually complete by around midday UTC, with funds typically arriving within 1–3 business days. Wise publishers are queued automatically on the 1st, then sent by our team by hand — usually within the first week of the month, with funds arriving a few business days after that depending on the destination bank. Bank transfer payouts follow the same monthly queue but take the longest to arrive, since they're sent manually and the transfer itself may route via SWIFT.

What is the minimum payout amount?

The minimum payout is £10 across every payout route. If your balance is below £10 at the end of the month, it rolls over to the next month. There is no expiry — your earnings accumulate until they reach the minimum.

How much does HalalSpark charge on payouts?

Nothing — HalalSpark takes no cut on any route, you get your full balance. The only deduction is Wise's own transfer fee, typically under £1 (see below for when it can run higher). Stripe is free everywhere except the US and Canada, where Stripe's own small cross-border fee (~0.25%) applies. Bank transfer has no HalalSpark fee either, though as a real international wire, a bank along the way could still take its own intermediary or receiving fee — that part isn't something we can see or control.

Do I need my own Wise account to get paid?

No. You provide your bank account details and preferred currency once, directly in your HalalSpark dashboard — HalalSpark sends your payment straight to that account each month via Wise's transfer network.

Can I change my payout country or provider?

You can update your country in Payout Settings at any time — the provider is then re-assigned automatically based on the verified routing for that country. There's no separate "choose a provider" step. Any change takes effect from the next payout cycle on the 1st of the following month.

What if my country is not supported by any provider?

Email [email protected] and we'll confirm whether your country is on our roadmap. We deliberately don't offer an "unverified, try anyway" fallback — a country only becomes selectable once we've confirmed it actually works with one of our routes, to avoid the payment ending up stuck or misrouted.

How much do publishers earn per impression?

Publishers earn £0.0024 per ad impression (approximately £2.40 per 1,000 impressions) — a flat rate, the same for every publisher worldwide regardless of which provider pays them. Earnings accumulate in real time and are displayed in your publisher dashboard. From 21 October 2026, the rate depends on each visitor's country: see how much you'll earn.
